This first floor CBD hangout is light and vibrant, a little cheeky and a lot of fun. We got the crew back together after building Uncle St Kilda with Foolscap a few years ago, this time bringing some different touches to maintain the family character but realise a new personality.
Like its menu, Uncle’s fit out is recognisable but carefully executed. Familiar nostalgic flavours like cane and rattan, a muted soft-serve candy palette and folding chairs are elevated by natural stone, a glowing bar and custom-patterned marmoleum flooring. Fork Ceramics contributed some fabulous custom lighting that rounds out a joyful, bustling eatery set up among the trees of the Paris end of town, dahling.
As with every project, our team’s crafts and skills were put to hard work. We’d serve nothing less than seamless joinery and accurate lines, a perfect match to delicious quality food and cocktails.
