About
It’s one of the true pleasures of our job to see a client’s success, and even more so be asked back to work on their next venture. The original Harry & Frankie in Port Melbourne struck just the right note with its wine bar-bottleshop combination that celebrates fun and frivolity over serious and snobbery, so there was no doubt that north-siders would get the same kick out of it.
Teaming up with Harrison Interiors means top-shelf materials and interesting designs with a graphic edge. Here we worked in gorgeous bespoke steelwork for wine racking and hi-top tables, solid timber for days and custom bar panelling. In this complete overhaul of a Victorian era pub’s first floor, the pared back palette, honed stone benches and custom-made stained glass panels sit superbly alongside original ornate cornices, ceiling roses and large arched windows. Venture out the French doors and you’ll find our bench seating and planterbox, the perfect rooftop for a tipple amongst the Fitzroy treetops.
This project was shortlisted for the 2017 AIDA awards – another class act.
