Carlton Wine Room is the perfect setting for locals to enjoy great food, delicious wine, knowledgeable service and good times all round.
The deceptively large venue is spread over 4 levels. Upstairs are 3 formal, yet homely private dining rooms and downstairs is a cavernous-like bluestone cellar come dining den. The star of the show however is the main bar on entry where you are greeted with a custom built communal table, sitting in the middle of an inviting high-ceilinged space. The bar itself is handsomely dressed with VJ panelling, Carrara marble and softly lit black steel shelves and then flows onto the main casual dining area, fitted out with comfortable banquettes and booths.
Whilst each level has its own distinctive mood and function, designer Samantha Eades has artfully created a seamless story throughout the venue with the use of a sophisticated colour palette, black steel accents, elegant light fixtures and custom furniture details.
The friendly, relaxed vibe definitely makes us want to make Carlton Wine room our local neighbourhood haunt!
